An apology and a FOTD

Hey guys! First of all, I'd like to say hello *waves* and a massive thank you to my 12 followers! There may only be a few of you but I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to look at my blog. Please feel free to comment and let me know what you think so far/what you would like to see in the future.

Secondly, I just wanted to say sorry for the lack of updates. It's been a very busy week for me and an ongoing health condition has been making me feel pretty lousy. However, I'll be adding more posts over the coming days, so keep your eyes peeled.

Spotlight on: Illamasqua

I’ve decided to do a series of blog posts focussing on specific make-up companies/brands. Each post will give a little bit of background on the company, products they’re well known for and products I personally recommend. I’ll also mention products I wouldn’t really advise parting with your money for and any other snippets of info I think you might want to know. I’ll be covering well known mainstream brands as well as drugstore gems and indie companies. First up, Illamasqua!

Revlon Photoready
This is my favourite foundation at the moment. It’s a product you either love or hate, but I most definitely love it. It gives me just the right amount of coverage, the shade “vanilla” is a great match for me and I love the way it feels on my skin.

My name is Jessie and I’m 28 years old. Although I’m a northerner originally, I now live on the South East coast of England with my wonderful fiancé. I am completely and utterly obsessed with all things beauty! I see make-up primarily as a hobby, although I am qualified in special effects and media make-up, and have worked on photo shoots, theatrical productions and independent films.
